Children's Education

St. James embraces God's children of all ages! We work to be inclusive of children and youth in all areas of our church life. It is our goal to meet children where they are and lead them towards our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do this through teaching the Bible and its relation to our lives. We do this by modeling God's love and forgiveness. And we do this by making St. James a place that is safe and is fun, a place to build the memories that will give the church another generation who will continue to write the faith story.

Peter Pebble Help Needed

It’s that time again! Peter Pebbles are rocks that are decorated with fun illustrations and Bible verses that children earn by memorizing various prayers, blessings, etc. This annual tradition at St. James is a favorite of the students, and we need to start replenishing our supply with freshly painted Peter Pebbles. We need people who are willing to give rocks a white base coat, who can paint designs on the rocks or who can do the lettering. Even if you have no artistic talent but have ideas for images that can be painted onto the pebbles we’d love to hear from you! If you are interested in helping with Peter Pebbles in any way, please contact Patty Seewald at 952-882-1776 or p.seewald@yahoo.com
