On Sunday, October 2, 2011 170 Volunteers were sent from worship into the community in service. Eighteen separate projects and 880 Volunteer hours, all benefiting those beyond the doors of St. James, were done throughout the day. At the end of the day, everyone gathered back together again for a meal to share experiences. Heart felt testimonials were shared which described how helping others was a meaningful thing to do. This service day illustrates the multi-generational character of St. James mission.
