Confirmation Ministry at St. James

About

Confirmation is the church's ministry that helps young people live into their baptismal faith.

Confirmation is the church's ministry that helps young people live into their baptismal faith.

At it's heart, Confirmation Ministry is about nurturing a living Christian faith in the context of a community of faith and struggle.  It is a time of questioning and assurance.  It is a time of making connections between God's story and the stories of our own lives.  It is a time for worship - to be fed spiritually through Word and Sacrament.  It is a time to experience God's world and find our place as we love our neighbor.  It is a time for building and deepening relationships.

Online  Confirmation Registration:

Each year, we ask students to register for Confirmation ministry.  We ask this even if they were in a small group last year because we know that things change from year to year.  At the start of each year, we want to make sure that we have the commitments of those who would like to participate in this year of Confirmation at St. James.  By registering before Rally Day (September 10, 2017), you help us make sure that we have all the resources ordered and ready for the coming year.

Are there any special needs that the small group leader and/or pastor should know? Please share with us any information that you think needs to be shared or would help make the experience better for your student.
