Last Night

This Christmas, give yourself a gift that will strengthen your faith. Rediscover the original Christmas story at St. James through a fun and innovative approach to Bible Study. Using technology, which folks can access online or in a small group on Monday evenings, this six-week series will dig deep into the stories of Jesus’ birth as told in Matthew and Luke’s gospels. We know that it is a busy time of year, so we are offering you the option of taking part in person or logging on at home or creating your own mix. No experience is necessary. We are learning together through asking questions and seeking insight.

Adopt-a-Highway

Adopt a highway.jpg

It’s that time of year again when the boulevards of Cty Rd 5 between Highway 13 and Cty Rd 42 appear to have suffered from littering and fall winds. This is a ministry many St. James members have participated in over the years. Perhaps you would like to volunteer again or join the cleaners for the first time picking up litter and cast offs on this stretch of road. Confirmation students and SDA Espanol folks will join in!

When: Saturday, November 3, 9:30am [60-90 minutes in length]

Where: Meet in St. James Narthex, bring work gloves and wear work clothes and shoes

Who: Individuals, families, confirmation small groups, and SDA Espanol folks. Children must be 12yr and have adult supervision. 12-15 volunteers would be welcome.

Why: To improve God’s green space and enjoy the company of others from St. James.
