SPARK - carving out a space for youth

High school is filled with pressure - in school, activities, with friendships and in family life. Even the best of high school experiences can be hard. SPARK is a landing place for high school students. It's an hour and a half of time each week where young people can come to be fed, loved and cared for by their peers and SPARK leaders. ALL are welcome - to stop in every once in a while or to come each week. Activities are low-pressure and easy to hop in and out of. So far this year, we've had two supper club nights where food is provided and another night of meal packing and communion bread making.

Next SPARK night is October 24, 6:30 - 8. We'll be carving pumpkins in the kitchen!

Then, the following week - October 31, we are going to take Pr. Mponzi from Tanzania out trick-or-treating! We'll meet at the church at 6:30 and go out in the neighborhood around church!
