100th Anniversary Celebration of the American Red Cross, Minnesota.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE for A SUCCESSFUL BLOOD DRIVE:
Yes, the wonderful people of St. James Village made it possible for the 57 Pints of Blood collected at our Aug. 10 Red Cross Blood Drive.
How: members and friends from near and far took time to donate; five types of delicious homemade cookies and root beer floats were served to visitors; three healthy, delicious salads were contributed for the excellent Red Cross Staff; two friendly reliable greeters made everyone feel welcomed and servers offered treats and conversation following one's donation; an overall
feeling of happiness knowing contributions were being made to increase the amount of blood available when needed.
57 Pints=171 Lives Saved (potential)
*(Please note future blood drives: Dec. 14, 2017; Feb. 15, Apr. 12, 2018.)
With gratitude, Karen Krafka, Sylvia Dobrovolny and the American Red Cross
