Annual Food Drive for Students at Luther Seminary

Seminary: a college that prepares students to be priests, ministers or rabbis

We have seen our own Sherri Lawrence, Pastor Scott and others before them,  enroll and graduate from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.  This fall 165 new students will begin their formal spiritual studies and hundreds more returning students to serve in God's world.

St. James is again hosting our Annual Food Drive for the students at Luther Seminary.  International and local students are blessed to have access to a food shelf stocked with food choices that fit their needs.

Our church has played an important role providing hundreds of pounds of food.  Last year, in early October, 20 bags of food were delivered to the Sem.  This September we are again asking St. James folks for your generous support.

Most needed items include:

Dry beans, rice, cooking oil, pasta, spaghetti sauce

Canned tuna, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables

Taco shells, crackers, nutritious cereals

Personal bath soap and paper products

Thank you in advance for your continued care and support.  The Seminary and students are grateful.
