Why do Faith Teams gather?

People of faith need connection to God and others. Taking part in a Faith Team allows for spiritual care. Participation will help you not only survive this time but will also make this time an opportunity for growth.

What is a Faith Team?

A Faith Team consists of a small group of people, five to ten, who gather in the spirit of friendship with the intent to connect together and with God. It can be a group of adults or teens, parents or singles, neighbors and family members.

What do Faith Teams do?

They come together on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to check-in with each other, share in a brief devotional and discussion on hope, and pray for one another. They commit to being present for one another with kindness and withholding judgment.

Faith Teams NEED BOTH Leads and Participants

Faith Team Lead - Each Faith Team has a Team Lead. The role of Team Lead is responsible for making sure the group knows when it is going to meet, has the proper online/phone numbers, and greets everyone as they enter the chat. Team Leads act as facilitators to make sure everyone gets a chance to share their wisdom. They do not have to be Bible experts and are NOT expected to teach.

Faith Team participants - Each person agrees to attend the weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly online chat. They agree to support the others in the Faith Team with kindness, listening, and an open spirit.
